This past week we began a new series called
“The Second Revival: Doing Life Together with Jesus”.
During this series, which runs on Sunday morning, we will gather in the evening at Quest to discuss the mornings sermon and dig into it a little more. We’ve set up a dedicated website/blog for the series where you can listen to the sermon and enter into the conversation. Visit
www.doinglifetogetherwithjesus.com for more.

Service will start at 6:30. We ask that you bring a food item to share (we’ll provide hot dog and water).

CANCELLED.
WE WILL HAVE A NORMAL QUEST AT CALVARY.
We are going to experiment with something new. On June 27, we are going to try and do Quest in people’s homes in addition to groups here at the church. That night we are going to be talking about the adventure of community, so we thought, “why not learn about community while doing it?!”.
The plan is to video record that talk ahead of time and make it along with discussion material available to groups. There will still be a group and live talk here at the church, but we’d love for some people to get a little risky and open up there home.
So we are looking for volunteers to host a group at their home for that night from about 6 - 830 pm. We are looking for homes that are within a few miles of the church so people don’t have to drive too far.
If you would like to host a group, just send us an email or leave a comment below and we’ll be in touch. Also, if you would like to host a group, but not necessarily lead it you can do that too, just let us know.

Hey want to join the Calvary Assembly of God “twitter prayer team”?
What’s it all about?
This is an experiment in using technology (in this case text messaging) to help us become people who “pray continuously”.
The idea is that you sign up for a twitter account (we’ll explain that in a minute) and follow the cagprayer twitter account . Every time a prayer request is posted to “cagprayer” you will receive the request via text message - then all you do is pray! A simple way to pray for the needs of others throughout the day.

This Sunday night we will begin a new series titled The Lost Adventure of Following Jesus.
Here’s a preliminary question to gets us moving in the same direction:
How has following Jesus been an adventure for you?
See you Sunday (not tonight like the picture says)!

We’re back to our “normal” Quest this Sunday night. This week we are continuing our series Meeting God as we take a look at the third person of the Trinity - The Holy Spirit.
So let me ask: What have you been taught and what do you believe about the Holy Spirit? What are some questions you have?
Hope to see you this Sunday night @ 6

Due to Mother’s Day, we decided to cancel tonight’s gathering. We will see you next week for a special missions service in the main sanctuary. See you then!

This week we’ll be back in the multi purpose room and will be continuing our discussion on Jesus. At the last Quest, Pastor Jeff started part two of our Meeting God series as he talked about how God entered “our space” through the person of Jesus.
This week we are going to look closer at Jesus and particularly His Message. What does Jesus’ Message teach us about Him? about God? about us? Was Jesus’ Message more than just some good teaching? Let’s dig in and find out! See you this Sunday!
Something to think about:
Jesus said that he came to proclaim that the “kingdom of God” had come near. What do you think that means? How might we think about this in the context of getting to know God relationally (which is what we are trying to do in this series)?
